| CHIMNEY
SWEEPING
Our
equipment is specifically designed for the type of chimney we
are servicing whether it be a large masonry fireplace, furnace
flue, woodstove or metal factory built chimney system.
All brushable creosote and soot are removed without damage to
the fireplace or chimney. This include the elbows in factory built
chimneys or connector pipes, which can become separated by using
improperly sized or inappropriate brushes or rods. The work is
done both from the outside and inside the home and using proven
methods to assure that no soot or creosote escapes into the room.
Drop cloths, rug runners, a high speed vacuum, tarps over the
fireplace and shoe covers allow us to guarantee mess-free cleaning!
All soot and creosote dislodged during the cleaning process will
be removed from the smoke shelf and firebox.
Our technicians will also examine the fireplace (or appliance)
and chimney and provide you with information regarding any problems
or concerns discovered during the cleaning process.
MCP

Vent Cleaning
Having
the dryer vent system cleaned and inspected yearly by a dryer
vent cleaning professional can help prevent fires and save you
money in decreased energy costs. According to the Consumer Products
Safety Commission, there were 15,500 dryer vent fires last year
and the number continues to rise. Because most people don't know
their dryer vents need to be cleaned. They clean out the lint
filter and think that's it. In reality, the dryer vent duct is
where lint really can build up and get clogged. Lint is highly
flammable and it accounts for most dryer vent fires.
Our technicians can service all venting situations including today's
extremely long vent ducts. These ducts are especially susceptible
to lint buildup.

Dryer
vent cleaning improves the safety and efficiency of your dryer
installation. As dryer vents become filled with lint and other
debris, drying time increases and can cause the dryer itself to
overheat. This increases energy consumption since the dryer has
to run longer to dry your clothes and can also cause fires in
the dryer or the dryer duct. The Consumer Product Safety Commission
reports dryer related home fires are on the increase. CPSC figures
show that in 1997 there were 16,800 dryer fires which caused 30
deaths, 430 injuries and 97.3 million dollars in property damage.
So
don't take a chance - put your family's safety in the hands of
a professional. It will protect them against potential fire and
save you money as well - two great reasons why you should think
about your dryer vent.
